Gary + Christin - Wedding

What an amazing wedding weekend!  I had the privilege and honor of photographing the wedding of Gary and Christin.  My husband (who is also named Gary!) has been a family friend of the Barnhardts (the bride's family) for many years now.  He fondly refers to them as his sisters.  They are the most kind-hearted individuals you will ever meet.  They're capacity to love is amazing.  So my husband and I were beyond thrilled when we received our wedding invitation to the lovely mountain retreat center, Valle Crucis.  Gary and Christin invited their guests to "take some time out of your busy lives to retreat to the NC mountains for some visiting, merry-making, hiking, dancing, eating and relaxing."

Josh + Amy - Engagement

And they were worried about not being able to take a good photo....  With such a fun, playful spirit these two made my job easy!  These two teachers enjoyed a sunny afternoon making googly eyes at each other on the playground.  Cute!  A few more months and you will get to see them all dressed up for their wedding day!  So excited!

Terry + Tammy - Engagement

So sweet is how I would describe this couple.  Terry's daughter joined the couple for their shoot as we walked around Old Salem.  I'm so glad she did because not only were they all adorable together but the camera absolutely loved them! 

I love these two final shots of Terry's daughter.  As I was taking the pictures I remember thinking... my goodness she looks like Alice in Wonderland!

Jaime + Michael - Engagement

What a lovely day, lovely location and lovely couple.  All that loveliness adds up to a wonderful photo shoot!  This couples wedding is just right around the corner!  I can hardly wait!

Grelan + Kandi - Engagement

This sweet couple was super excited about their engagement session.  They were all giggles and smiles as we walked around downtown Greensboro.  The fun part is that I will be joining them at their wedding at the end of this week!  So looking forward to it! 

Third Times A Charm

After cancellations due to injuries and weather this lovely couple and I were finally able to meet for their engagement shoot!  We lucked out with a gorgeous Monday afternoon by a beautiful sunlit lake.  Be on the look out for this couples wedding photos coming later this summer!  Super excited!  In the meantime here are their scrumptious engagement photos!
