Greek Orthodox Wedding | Winston-Salem, NC

A few months ago I was invited by Traci Arney Photography (www.traciarney.com) to work as a second photographer at a Greek Orthodox wedding in Winston-Salem, NC.  This was my first experience with a Greek Orthodox wedding and my first time working with Traci.  I can proudly say that it was a wonderful experience on both accounts.  Traci has graciously allowed me to share with you my images from the wedding day (photographed by me and edited by Traci).  Paul (groom) and Zena's (bride) families were both warm and welcoming.  I started my day with Paul, his family and groomsmen.  After meeting them at their home I began to photograph them as they prepared for the big day.

Soon after I left the house I navigated my way over to the church.  The sky was a bright blue and the church a pristine white.  The setting was quite lovely really.

After a beautiful ceremony everyone made their way over to the ballroom at the Embassy Suites.  The room and decor were exquisite.  Not long after their arrival Paul and Zena participated in a traditional money dance.  Though different than the money dances I had seen before this dance was full of happiness, an outpouring of love... and energy!

Congratulations to Paul and Zena!  I invite you to take a look at Traci's webpage to see all of the awesomeness she has to offer:

  1. Hey, I just can’t explain how much I love the Greek Orthodox Wedding at Winston-Salem, NC. It is an absolute package of fun, colors, cheerful faces and so much quality food. Thanks for sharing the photos here. At one of the indoor vintage inspired event halls for rent I also would be marrying soon so hope that our day would also be perfect.
